LADY PANTHER BASKETBALL GOES TO 10-0 WITH A WIN OVER NORMANGEE

The Burton Lady Panther Basketball Team continued their winning ways as they crushed Normangee yesterday (Monday) 53-26.

The win improves the Lady Panthers 10-0.

Burton outscored Normangee 14-5 in the first quarter and 12-8 in the second quarter to take a 26-13 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Lady Panthers also outscored Normangee 6-3 in the third quarter and then put the game away with a 21-10 fourth quarter.

Aerynn Huntsman and Harper Hodde led Burton with 11 points each. Val Hernandez added nine points. Leilah Ellis finished with eight points.

Next up, the Lady Panthers will travel to Hempstead on Saturday. The start time for the game has moved up to 11am.
