The Bluebonnet Garden Club awarded the December Yard of the Month to Robin Cook, 1800 Niebuhr Street.
The home is beautifully decorated for Christmas. In the front yard are plantings of boxwoods and roses. The backyard has old native pecan trees and lovely beds of different colors of roses, as well as variegated shell ginger, white jasmine and a sweet olive tree. Containers of plumbago and cyclamen add accent to the patio area.
A gift certificate to a local nursery was given.
