THANKSGIVING WEEKEND BOOKINGS FOR BRENHAM PD INCLUDE DRUG POSSESSION WARRANT, INTERFERING WITH REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE
Brenham police reported three arrests over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday, Sergeant Jose Perez and Officer Mateo Guillen responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance located in the 900 block of Harrington Street. Upon arrival, police claim they found that 83-year-old William Ray Brown (city of residence not provided) had interfered with the victim’s 911 call. Brown was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Interfering with an Emergency Request for Assistance.
Around 6:45 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a welfare concern in the 900 block of Harrington Street. Investigation revealed that 21-year-old Latre Dewayne Bonner of Brenham had an active warrant for his arrest out of Brazos County for Possession of a Dangerous Drug. Bonner was placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.
A few minutes past 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Officer LeDarion Jenkins initiated a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East. During the investigation, police determined that the driver, identified as 37-year-old Marlett Adriana Del Sagrario Silva of Houston, had four active warrants. She was taken into custody and booked in at the Washington County Jail for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Display/Expired Registration, Speeding 10 Percent Over the Limit and No Driver’s License.
