BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO FOUR CALLS ON FRIDAY
The Brenham Fire Department responded to four calls on Friday.
The first call came in just after 7am. Brenham Firefighters were dispatched to a crash at 2615 Hwy 36 South. BFD provided traffic control and checked for fluids. Once both vehicles were moved, they returned to service.
The second call came in just before 7:45am. The Brenham Fire Department responded to a reported gas odor in the 1000 Block of West First Street. BFD stood by until the City of Brenham Gas Department made the location. BFD returned to service.
The Brenham Fire Department later responded to a hazmat call in the 400 Block of South Sager Street at 6pm. BFD made the location to find a small amount of gas that had leaked from a vehicle. Firefighters then returned to service.
BFD units responded to a crash in the 1700 Block of West Main Street at 10:30pm. They provided traffic control and helped with debris from the vehicles. Once both vehicles were moved the roadway was cleaned and BFD returned to service. All patients were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
