CUB FOOTBALL RECEIVES ACADEMIC ALL-STATE HONORS

Seven members of the Brenham Cub Football Team and one of their athletic trainers have earned Academic All-State honors from the Texas High School Coaches Association.

Antonie "Papo" Najera was named Second Team Academic All-State.

Meanwhile, Honorable Mention honors went to players Tristan Shugart, Andre Mojica, Caleb Landry, Brody Jensen, Jase Mueller, and Mason Seeber, as well as, trainer Jordyn Dickson.

To be chosen as Academic All-State, a student must maintain a GPA of at least 92 or above, be a senior, be in good standing with the team, and be of good moral character.
