LOCAL FOOD PANTRY TO BENEFIT FROM CHURCH DONATION
Spiess (Friedens Church)
A local food pantry is going to benefit from a recent donation.
The Friedens Church of Washington recently donated $500 to the Brenham Bread Partners earlier this month.
The church donates food items monthly, and added the financial contribution in December.
Church member Linda Oberhoff made the check presentation to the Bread Partners.
Volunteers Nelda Buck of Washington and Gwen Spiess of Brenham accepted the donation on behalf of the non-profit organization.
According to Oberhoff, they will also be making a matching donation to the Navasota Food Pantry.
