CUB BASKETBALL GETS A WIN AT THIRD WARD JAMBOREE
The Brenham Cub Basketball Team snapped a two-game losing skid as they defeated Good Vision Academy 58-50 on Saturday.
The game was played at Westbury Christian High School in Houston as part of the Third Ward Jamboree.
Jayden Hebert led the Cubs with 20 points. Dawud Majied added 14 points.
The win improved Brenham to 9-6 on the season.
Coming up next, the Cubs will play host to the Bryan Vikings, who are off to an 8-1 start to the year.
The opening tipoff is scheduled for 6:30pm. It is also Brenham Junior Night. Prior to the game, they will be recognizing the Brenham Junior High Basketball Teams.
