BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WARRANT

A Brenham man was taken into custody by local police on Monday for a warrant for controlled substance possession.
Just past 5:45 p.m., Officer Trinten Rolling, Officer Gabriel Duran and Sergeant Tiffany Anderson responded to the 700 block of Medical Parkway in reference to a wanted person.
Police say their investigation revealed that 61-year-old Donald Armstead had an active warrant out of Washington County District Court for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram.
Armstead was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for his warrant.
