WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEES, RETIRING BOARD MEMBER
Several Washington County Appraisal District employees and an outgoing board member were recognized during the board of directors meeting on Tuesday.

The district recognized Jeri Bentke, who works in deeds and mapping, for 40 years of service. It also acknowledged Mischelle Schwartz, who works in collections, for 10 years of employment, as well as Chief Appraiser Dyann White for 5 years of service.
Additionally, Charles Gaskamp, who is retiring from board service, was honored for his 11 years on the board.

In business items, the board adopted a newly revised board policy. White said the revision contains no major changes and is mostly for modernization of language and updates for tax code compliance.
Board members also received the 2025 annual and mass appraisal reports and made preparations for the chief appraiser’s evaluation scheduled for January.
