WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO ACKNOWLEDGE EMPLOYEES FOR SERVICE YEARS, RECOGNIZE RETIREES
Washington County Commissioners are set to recognize several groups of employees at their meeting on Monday.
The court will acknowledge select employees for their continued years of service, as well as employees who are preparing to retire.
In regular business, commissioners will vote on an interlocal agreement between the county and the City of Brenham to advocate and promote tourism programs and services, as well as the bylaws of the Tourism Advisory Board. The two items were tabled at the court’s most recent meeting.
Other action items will include a payment processing agreement with CSG Forte Payments, Inc. for electronic payment services, along with a joint resolution to grant the election administrator or county clerk the authority to contract with the Washington County Republican and Democratic Parties for a joint primary election next year.
At the end of the meeting, commissioners will review monthly reports from the sheriff’s office, county and district clerks, justices of the peace, auditor, tax assessor-collector, treasurer, constables, elections and veterans services.
Commissioners will meet Monday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
