BRENHAM POLICE MAKE WARRANT ARRESTS FOR ASSAULT, DWI
Brenham police arrested four people on Monday.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., Sergeant Jose Perez responded to the 100 block of West Main Street in reference to a wanted person. Upon arrival, officers located 53-year-old Tiffany Vasquez of Brenham, who was placed into custody for an active felony warrant out of Washington County for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More. Vasquez was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.
At 3:45 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling was patrolling the 100 block of Highway 290 West when he observed a person who had an active warrant out of Washington County. 34-year-old Sonny Allen Bo Marks of Brenham was placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail without incident for his warrant, Assault Intentionally or Recklessly Impeding Breath or Circulation to a Family Member.
At 11:30 p.m., Officers Mateo Guillen and Eric Crosby were conducting a parks check in the 1300 block of Jackson Street when they observed a vehicle in the park after hours. A probable cause search of the vehicle ensued after officers reported detecting an odor of marijuana. 21-year-old Dylan O’Ryan Franklin-McDonald of Brenham and 21-year-old Tiyana Michelle Jones of Brenham were both taken into custody without incident on charges of Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. Franklin-McDonald was additionally charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
