BRENHAM FD RESPONDS TUESDAY FOR REPORT OF STRUCTURE FIRE
The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Tuesday.
At 9:30 a.m., units were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at AccentCare Home Health, 526 West Main Street. Members of the Brenham Fire Department and Meyersville Volunteer Fire Department found nothing showing from the exterior of the building. They later discovered a fan in the ceiling had burned up, causing the smell and haze inside the building. After turning the breaker off, firefighters cleared the call.
At 6:15 p.m., BFD members responded for a smoke investigation at the BrenSha Heights Apartments, 101 East Airline Drive. Upon arrival, they found no smoke or smell in the area, so they returned to service.
