STATE MARSHAL’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING A MULTI-VEHICLE FIRE IN CALDWELL
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a multi-vehicle fire in Caldwell that occurred late Monday night.
The Caldwell Fire Department was dispatched to the 800 Block of Meadow Brook Drive around 11:45pm after the homeowner saw two pickup trucks on fire.
Firefighters arrived to find a 2002 Ford Ranger and a 2005 Toyota Tundra fully engulfed in flames. A car parked nearby also suffered minor damage.
According to Caldwell Fire Chief Harry Bowers, firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.
The Caldwell Police Department and the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
The damage was contained to just the vehicles, and did not reach the residence. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
Bowers told the Burleson County Tribune that it is unknown whether foul play might have been involved.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office was at the scene yesterday (Tuesday) conducting their investigation, but has not released their findings.
