CITY OF LA GRANGE ACCEPTING TOURISM GRANT FUND APPLICATIONS

The City of La Grange has begun accepting paper applications for organizations and individuals applying for tourism grant funds.

The grant funds are for projects that occur between October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2027.

City of La Grange Tourism and Communications Director Ashley Watkins said that the grant funds are to be used to enhance advertising and promotional efforts, historic preservation projects, the promotion of the arts, and other activities that will increase tourism and hotel/motel usage in La Grange.

Applicants can also call the La Grange Main Street and Visitor’s Bureau at 979-968-3017.

The deadline to turn in applications is March 31 at 5pm.

Also, to be eligible for the grant, applicants are required to attend an informational session on Tuesday, January 13, at 5:30pm at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange.
