WASHINGTON CO. EXTENSION OFFICE TO HOST FREE HEALTH PROGRAMS

  

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Washington County will host several health-focused programs in the coming weeks.

The three free programs will each be held at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library in Brenham, inside the Roberta C. Johnson Program Room.

The first topic will be “Know More About Cancer: No Excuses, Get Screened”, to be held on Thursday, January 15th from noon to 1 p.m. and on Monday, January 26th from 5 to 6 p.m.  The presentation will cover information about cancer screening and early detection.

Next will be “Cholesterol Matters: Be Heart Healthy”, scheduled for Thursday, February 12th from noon to 1 p.m. and Monday, February 23rd from 5 to 6 p.m.  Attendees will learn about the importance of maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and how doing so supports heart health and overall well-being.

Last will be “Life Balance: Your Work, Your Life”, set for Tuesday, March 10th from noon to 1 p.m. and Monday, March 23rd from 5 to 6 p.m.  The program will explore work-life conflict and its impact on employee well-being, job performance and personal life. 

All of the programs are open to the public.  No registration is required.
