BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO ON ASSAULT CHARGES

Two people were arrested by Brenham police on Saturday for assault.
Close to 2:30 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to a physical disturbance located in the 600 block of Pleasantview Avenue.

After further investigation, police placed 18-year-old Edward Tyrone Hicks Jr. of Houston and 17-year-old Dontay Smith of Brenham into custody. They were charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury and booked into the Washington County Jail.
