SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS AUSTIN MAN FOR INVALID LICENSE

An Austin man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday on an invalid license charge.
Approaching 9:15 p.m., Lieutenant Jesus Montes conducted a traffic stop near Highway 290 West and San Marcos Street for no license plate lights.
According to the sheriff’s office, the driver was found to have an invalid license, so he was taken into custody.
30-year-old Jose Alexander Lopez Serrano was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
