TXDOT BRYAN OFFICE TAKING PART IN THE “PLEASE TO BE SEATED” PROGRAM
Motor vehicle crashes remain a leading cause of death among children, but together, Traffic Safety Specialist Lindsey Schroeder from TxDOT’s Bryan District Office is hoping the public can change that.
TxDOT said they are starting the year by committing to protect the youngest passengers.
Under the “Please Be Seated” program, if you see a child riding unrestrained in a vehicle, you can report it anonymously.
TxDOT will reach out to the family with free education and support—no judgment, just help.
Schroeder said their goal is to make sure that every child has a safe ride.
