BLINN LIVESTOCKING JUDGING PLACES FIRST AT GRISWOLD CATTLE CLASSIC
The Blinn College Livestock Judging Team placed four individuals in the top 20 en route to a first-place finish in the recent Griswold Cattle Classic in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Blinn led the way with 2,282 points in the contest, while Conners State College placed second with 2,257 points.
Kenna Schramm was seventh overall with 458 points, Ryleigh Gilfoil was 13th with 462 points, Paige Zimprich finished 17th overall with 461 points, and Jenna Lindig was 19th overall with 459 points.
The win at the Griswold Cattle Classic propelled Blinn to third place in www.LivestockJudging.com’s national community college rankings for the 2025-26 school year.
Blinn placed in the top five at every fall 2025 contest it competed in, including first at the State Fair of Texas, second at the American Royal Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Contest and Tulsa State Fair, third at the National Barrow Show, and fifth at the North American International Livestock Exposition.
The livestock judging team is part of Blinn’s Agricultural Sciences Program, which has one of the most active extracurricular programs in the state, including livestock judging, the Agriculture Club, wildlife, agriculture mechanics, and horticulture.
