BRENHAM PD MAKES ARREST FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE & DRUG POSSESSION, SERVES WARRANT FOR INVALID LICENSE
Brenham police on Wednesday reported a warrant served on a license charge and an arrest for indecent exposure and drug possession.
Close to 1:30 p.m., Sergeant Jose Perez responded to the Washington County Jail, 1206 Old Independence Road, in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, Sgt. Perez served a warrant to a current jail inmate, 31-year-old Leroy Moorehead of Brenham, for Driving While License Invalid.
At 5:30 p.m., Officer Mateo Guillen responded to a business in the 200 block of Highway 290 West regarding disorderly conduct. Police say their investigation revealed that an individual was pleasuring himself in the parking lot. After police conducted a probable cause search of the suspect’s vehicle, 30-year-old Stephen Welch of Bellville was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail without incident. Welch was charged with Indecent Exposure, Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz., and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams.
