LANHAM NOT RETURNING FOR A THIRD SEASON AT SNOOK

For the third time in the last four years, the Snook Blue Jays are going to be looking for a new head football coach and athletic director.

Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is reporting that Nolan Lanham will not be returning for a third season.

Lanham, who was the offensive coordinator at Nocona High School at the time, was hired by Snook in April 2024. It was Lanham's first head coaching job.

In his first season, the Blue Jays went 1-9, with their only victory coming by way of forfeit.

This past season, Snook lost their first four games before injuries and a lack of available players forced them to forfeit the rest of their varsity schedule.
