CUB SOCCER OPENS BLUE BELL SHOWCASE WITH A WIN
The Brenham Cub Soccer Team opened up the Blue Bell Showcase with a 4-1 win over the Giddings Buffaloes on Thursday.
Isaac Garcia scored two of the four goals for Brenham. The other two Cub goals came from Josue Andrade and Javier Rodriguez Rivera.
The win evens Brenham's record at 3-3 on the season.
The Cubs are scheduled to face the Cleveland "A" Team later today (Friday).
Due to the threat of weather, the start time has been moved up. Originally, they were going to play at 4:30pm, but they are now scheduled to face off at 11am.
Brenham wraps up the tournament tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm with a game against Madisonville.
