SOMERVILLE ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION TO HOLD 2ND ANNUAL WINTER GALA

  

The Somerville ISD Education Foundation is making plans for their Second Annual Winter Gala.

The Winter Gala will be held on Saturday, February 14, beginning at 6pm in the Somerville ISD Cafetorium at 700 Eighth Street.

The evening features a steak dinner, drinks, desserts, music, plus live and silent auctions.

Individual tickets are $50 each. They also have Silver Tables for $500, and Gold Tables for $1,000.

The Silver Tables include eight tickets, table signage, as well as, program and slideshow ads.

The Gold Tables include eight tickets, table signage, program and slideshow ads, a social media post, and verbal recognition.

Ticket payments can be made by scanning the QR Code on-line, or sending checks to Somerville ISD Education Foundation, P.O. Box 997, Somerville, Texas 77879.

They are also accepting items for their live and silent auctions.

Students and student organizations that submit items for the auction receive 40% of the winning bid, while 60% goes to the Foundation.

The Education Foundation raises money that is used for grants and scholarships for Somerville ISD staff and students.

Last year’s Foundation Gala had a turnout of over 250 guests and raised $50,000.
