CUBETTE BASKETBALL SNAPS 15-GAME LOSING SKID WITH A WIN OVER A&M CONSOLIDATED

The Brenham Cubette Basketball Team snapped a 15-game district losing skid by beating A&M Consolidated 45-41 last (Friday) night on the Lady Tigers' home court.

Freshman Aby Adams led the Cubettes with 16 points. Antyiahna Lang and Janiyah Mathis both finished with 12 points each.

With the win, Brenham is now 17-10 and 1-3 in District 17-5A.

Next up for the Cubettes, they will be joining us in studio for the Brenham Sportsline this Monday night at 5:35pm.

They will then play host to Bryan Rudder on Tuesday night at 6:30pm at the Brenham High School Gym. KWHI is going to have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6:15pm on 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.
