CUBETTE SOCCER SHUTS OUT BELLVILLE 3-0

The Brenham Cubette Soccer Team shutout the Bellville Brahmanettes 3-0 on Friday night.

Freshman Mya Vyskocil scored the first goal off of an assist from Leslie Quevedo Mata. Head Coach Kristin Jungers said, "Mata gave a quick pass to the center right outside the 18. Mya took one touch then shot to hit the upper 90."

Senior Denali Washington scored the second goal off of an assist from Alayna Allen, another senior. Jungers told KWHI that Washington used her significant speed to beat the Bellville back line.

The final goal came on when Bronwyn Hunter gave a great through-ball over the back line and Kristin Velazquez dribbled in, and took a shot from the right to the left pocket of the goal.

With the win, the Cubettes are off to a 4-0 start to the season. Next up, they will be at the Trinity Showcase in Liberty, which runs January 16-17.
