CUBETTE SOCCER WINS FIRST TWO AT LIBERTY TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cubette Soccer Team returned to action on Friday after a week off between matches, and picked up right where they left off by adding two more wins on the first day of the Liberty Tournament in Liberty, Texas.

In the opener, the Cubettes shutout LaMarque 6-0. They followed that up with a 2-0 victory over Alief Hastings in a rematch from the Blue Bell Showcase in Brenham.

The wins improve Brenham to 6-0 on the season.

They are playing in the tournament semi-finals and potentially the finals today (Saturday).

Afterwards, the Cubettes will return home for the start of District 17-5A play on Tuesday night. They are scheduled to host College Station High School at Cub Stadium.

The JV plays at 5pm, followed by the Varsity at 7pm.
