BLINN BASEBALL RANKED #2 IN NJCAA PRESEASON POLL

The Blinn Buccaneer Baseball Team is ranked #2 in the NJCAA Preseason Poll.

The Bucs are eight points behind defending National Champion Salt Lake, who is ranked at #1 in the poll (200 to 192).

Blinn enters their fourth season under Head Coach Dusty Hart. In his first three seasons at the helm, Hart has led the Bucs to three straight appearances in the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. This includes winning the National Championship in 2024.

Other Texas schools in the poll include: McLennan Community College at #6, Weatherford College at #7, San Jacinto College at #18, and Midland College at #25.

Last season, Blinn finished with a 48-15 record.

The Bucs will open the season on Friday, January 30, at #7 Weatherford with a doubleheader beginning at 2pm.

Their home opener is a matinee game on Tuesday, February 3, against Dodge City Community College at 2pm at Leroy Dreyer Field.
