SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS CHAPPELL HILL MAN FOR FAMILY ASSAULT
A Chappell Hill man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday on a family assault charge.

Around 4:30 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 7400 block of Eva Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim stated she had been assaulted by her husband and that he had left the residence. The suspect was located and taken into custody.
55-year-old Tom Johnson was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
