BRENHAM POLICE TO HOST FIRST “COFFEE WITH COPS” OF 2026

The Brenham Police Department has announced their first upcoming “Coffee with Cops” event for 2026.

“Coffee with Cops” is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th, from 7:30- 9am at Shipley Donuts located at 200 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

The event is part of an ongoing and continuous effort from the department to engage and partner with the community.

Unlike traditional meetings, Coffee with Cops is designed to be a casual, come-and-go gathering.

There will be no formal presentations, speeches, or set agendas.

Instead, residents will have the opportunity to engage in open, one-on-one conversations with members of the department about matters that are most important to them.

Participants will include Police Chief Gary Boshears, along with officers and staff from the Patrol Division, Investigations Division, and Administrative Division.

The goal of this initiative is to foster stronger relationships between officers and residents, encouraging collaboration, trust, and problem-solving within the community.

The Brenham Police Department will be hosting additional community engagement opportunities throughout the year, continuing its commitment to building partnerships and strengthening public safety through open communication.
