FLORIDA MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING NARCOTICS ON BLINN CAMPUS

  

Investigation into reports of narcotics being sold on the Blinn College campus in Brenham led to the arrest of a Florida man on marijuana distribution charges.

The Brenham Police Department states that its Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) conducted an operation around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday that resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Jaden Gelin. 

Police say their investigation began when CRU investigators learned that an individual was publicly advertising narcotics for sale and distributing narcotics on the Blinn campus. 

Investigative efforts led police to identify Gelin as the suspect.  CRU investigators coordinated with the Blinn College Police Department to plan an enforcement operation.

Gelin was located and arrested on an active arrest warrant for Delivery of Marijuana ¼ oz. – 5 lbs.  Officers reportedly found additional narcotics in Gelin’s vehicle.

Gelin was taken into custody on the active warrant and an additional count of Delivery of Marijuana ¼ oz. – 5 lbs.  He was transported without incident to the Washington County Jail.
