CUBETTE BASKETBALL PICKS UP A HOME WIN OVER MONTGOMERY
The Brenham Cubette Basketball Team picked up their fifth straight district win last (Wednesday) night as they knocked off Montgomery 52-47 at the Brenham High School Gym.
Senior Amirah Byrd came off the bench to lead Brenham with 11 points. Janiyah Mathis added eight points and four rebounds. Aby Adams finished with seven points, four rebounds, and four assists.
With the victory, the Cubettes are now 21-10 overall and 5-3 in district.
Next up, Brenham will be heading on the road Huntsville this Friday night for a 6:30pm game.
