CUBS BASKETBALL WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT DISTRICT GAME
Despite their game being pushed back an extra day, the Brenham Cub Basketball Team kept their momentum going with a 69-62 victory over the Montgomery Bears last (Wednesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.
It was the fourth straight district win for the Cubs, which improved their record to 18-10 on the season, and 4-3 in district.
Jayden Hebert led Brenham with 23 points and ten rebounds. Roderick Martin followed with 16 points and seven rebounds. Dawud Majied finished with 12 points.
Next up, the Cubs will be back at home to battle Huntsville on Friday at 6:30pm at the Brenham High School Gym. KWHI is going to have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6:15pm on 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.
