A&M CONSOLIDATED DEFEATS BRENHAM ON LANG’S HISTORIC NIGHT

It was a rough night on the court last (Tuesday) night for the Brenham Cubette Basketball Team as they lost to A&M Consolidated 64-52 at the Brenham High School Gym.

Carmen McWilliams led Brenham with 11 points. Janiyah Mathis and Antyiahna Lang finished with nine points each.

The loss drops the Cubettes into fifth place. They are one game behind A&M Consolidated for the fourth playoff spot.

On a positive note, after the game, Lang was honored for reached both 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her high school career at Brenham.

Next up, the Cubettes will be at Bryan Rudder on Friday at 6:30pm.
