VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CHAPPELL HILL BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL
The Chappell Hill Historical Society’s Bluebonnet Festival is less than two months away, and organizers are seeking volunteers to help make the event a success.
Dottie Schaer, a volunteer with the Chappell Hill Historical Society, says help is needed for all hours of the festival, which will be held on Saturday, April 11th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 12th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Volunteer sign-ups are available to work in the parking lot, the beverage booth, the children’s area, at the Rock Store, and in vendor hospitality.
According to Schaer, the festival is seeking around 25 volunteers. Those who volunteer can indicate which jobs and how many hours they would like to work.
To sign up, call the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum, located at 9220 Poplar Street, at 979-836-6033.
Schaer says the festival is nearly full on its vendor booth slots. She expects good weather and a great crowd for the festival, and she appreciates everyone’s interest.
