BRENHAM FD RESPONDS TUESDAY FOR DOG IN VEHICLE, DOWNED POWER LINES

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Tuesday.

Just shy of 1 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 2800 block of Wood Ridge Boulevard for a report of a dog locked inside a hot vehicle.  They arrived on location to find the dog inside the vehicle with the windows down.  No action was taken by the fire department.

At 6:15 p.m., units responded to the 1000 block of Armbrister Street for power lines down on a house.  They found a tree and power lines on the home and stood by until the City of Brenham Electric Department made location before returning to service.  The home was vacant.
