CUB GOLF FINISHES SECOND AT MONTGOMERY TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cub Golf Team finished second at the Montgomery Tournament on Tuesday at the Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Course.

Over the two-day event, the Cub shot a team score of 327 on Monday and a team score of 321 on Tuesday. They finished with a total score of 648, which was six strokes behind eventual tournament winner Houston Memorial.

Luke Alford (So.) was the second place overall individual winner. He shot a 77 on the first day, and a 73 on the second day, for a two-day total of 150. Alford was just two strokes behind A&M Consolidated's Ryan Lee, who finished in first with a 148 two-day total.
