OVER 500 TURN OUT FOR FIRST DAY OF EARLY VOTING

Early voting opened with over 500 participants on Tuesday for the March 3rd primary election.

According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, a total of 525 people, including 427 Republicans and 98 Democrats, voted on Tuesday.

The county has a total of 25,660 registered voters.

Early voting continues at the Washington County Courthouse Annex through February 27th.  Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through this Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Monday through Friday.
