BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR THEFT, TERRORISTIC THREAT
Brenham police arrested one individual on Wednesday on a theft charge and another early this (Thursday) morning for terroristic threat.
Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Officers Gabriel Duran, Mateo Guillen and Trinten Rolling responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a reported theft. According to police, their on-scene investigation revealed that a suspect, identified as 19-year-old Courtland Justin Trenton Short of Mansfield, allegedly stole a large quantity of merchandise without rendering payment. Short was placed under arrest for Theft of Property $100 - $750 and transported to the Washington County Jail.
At 12:45 a.m. today, Officers Duran and Guillen, along with Sergeant Tiffany Anderson, responded to the 200 block of Sheppard Lane in reference to a disturbance call. After investigation, 35-year-old Carlos Estuardo Coy-Choc of Brenham was placed under arrest for Terroristic Threat of a Family/Household Member. Coy-Choc was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in.
