SNOOK ISD HIRES NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

The Snook Blue Jays are bringing back a familiar face to be their next head football coach and athletic director.
Former Snook assistant coach Matt Kana is returning to the Blue Jays after the previous coach Nolan Lanham stepped down.
When he was previously at Snook from 2019-2021, the Blue Jays made the playoffs in all three seasons, and won a Co-District Championship in 2020.
Kana has been the defensive line coach at Magnolia. He also has coached at Edna and Bryan Rudder.
This will be his first head coaching job.
