EARLY VOTING PASSES 2,200 THROUGH FOUR DAYS

Washington County’s early voting figures are well on track to shatter numbers from the previous gubernatorial election in 2022.

According to Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, Friday saw 615 people come out to vote, including 510 Republicans and 105 Democrats.

Through four days of early voting, the county has seen 2,279 early ballots cast, made up of 1,892 Republicans and 387 Democrats.

The four-day total is already over half of 2022’s full early voting tally of 3,817 votes.  There are 11 days of early voting.

Early voting continues at the Washington County Courthouse Annex until February 27th.  Weekend hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Saturday) and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday), followed by hours all next week of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
