WEEK TWO OF EARLY VOTING BEGINS WITH TURNOUT OF OVER 2,800 THUS FAR
The second week of early voting is underway for the March 3rd primary election.
According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, there have been 2,808 early voters thus far, made up of 2,330 Republicans and 478 Democrats.
During this past weekend of early voting, 334 people came out on Saturday – 271 Republicans and 63 Democrats – and 195 people participated on Sunday – 167 Republicans and 28 Democrats.
Early voting is open at the Washington County Courthouse Annex through Friday, with hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
