BRENHAM FD RESPONDS MONDAY FOR A/C UNIT ISSUES, OVEN FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Monday.

Just before 11:45 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to Hospice Brazos Valley, 302 East Blue Bell Road, for a report of a structure fire.  Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building.  The department found an A/C unit that was causing the smell inside the building, so the department turned the power off to the unit and advised the manager what was found.

Around 4:30 p.m., BFD members responded to a report of a structure fire at a residence in the 2100 block of Timberline Court.  They found no smoke or fire showing from the outside.  Upon entering, they found the fire was out inside the oven.  No action was taken.
