EARLY VOTING TURNOUT OVER 3,800 WITH THREE DAYS REMAINING
Early voting numbers have now surpassed those of the most recent gubernatorial election in 2022.
Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports 524 people came out to vote on Tuesday, consisting of 442 Republicans and 82 Democrats.
Through Tuesday, the county has drawn 3,853 early voters, made up of 3,203 Republicans and 650 Democrats.
In comparison, the full 2022 voting cycle had an early turnout of 3,817 people. Including today (Wednesday), there are three days left for early voting.
Early voting hours at the Washington County Courthouse Annex through Friday are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
