PANTHER BASKETBALL ENDS SEASON WITH LOSS TO BIG SANDY
The season came to an end for the Burton Panther Basketball Team last (Tuesday) night as they lost to Big Sandy 70-44 in the Bi-District round of the playoffs.
Big Sandy jumped out to a big, early lead and never looked back. The Wildcats led the Panthers 38-18 at halftime, and also outscored them 32-26 in the second half.
Burton finishes with a 15-10 overall record.
This was the first appearance for the Panthers in the playoff in seven years.
