AMAYA WILLIAMS SIGNS COLLEGE LETTER OF INTENT

One of the top players in Burton Lady Panther history has made her decision on where she is going next.

Yesterday (Wednesday), before family, friends, teachers, and coaches, OF Amaya Williams signed her letter of intent to play for the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

Last year, as a junior, Williams was Honorable Mention All-State, and the District 26-2A Offensive MVP. She had a .455 batting average with nine homers and 37 RBIs.

This year, as a senior, Williams is off to another great start this season. Through the first seven games, she is hitting .600 with three homers and 13 RBIs.
