CUBS FINISH 1ST AND CUBETTES FINISH 2ND AT BRENHAM GOLF INVITATIONAL
The Brenham Cub and Cubette Golf Teams hosted the Brenham Invitational Golf Tournament at the Brenham Country Club this past Friday and Saturday.
For the Boys tournament, the Cubs finished in first place with a two-day team score of 599. They shot a 299 on Friday and a 300 on Saturday.
Caleb Klussmann (Jr.) was the top individual golfer for Brenham, and second overall for the tournament, with a two-day score of 144. He shot a 72 on both days of the tournament.
Luke Alford (So.) and Holton Gillentine (So.) finished in a tie for fourth place individually. They both shot a 149 over the two-day event. They both shot a 75 on the first day, and a 74 on the second day.
Rounding out the Cub scores, Levi Dupont (Sr.) finished 13th overall with a 157 (77-80), and Max Felder (Fr.) finished 15th overall with a 159 (77-82).
The Cubs also fielded a second team that placed 8th overall with a two-day score for 676 (345-331).
Joaquin Terry (Fr.) led the Brenham 2 Team by finishing 6th overall with a 153. (73-80).) Other Brenham 2 scores:

The Brenham Cubettes finished as the second-place team on the Girls side. They had a 685 score over the two-day period. The Cubettes had a 349 on day one and a 336 on day two.
Raylea Kunkel (So.) led Brenham with a two-day score of 149. She shot a 75 on the first day, and a 74 on the second day.
Sofia Workman (Sr.) was sixth overall with a 168 (87-81), and Caroline Sawyer (So.) was tenth overall with a 182 (93-89).
Other Brenham scores were Addison Siemsglusz (So.) with a 186 (94-92), and Layla Sadler (So.) with a 255 (136-119).
