HOUSTON MAN BOOKED FOR FRAUD, FORGERY CHARGES

A Houston man was arrested by Brenham police on fraud and forgery charges.
Brenham police report that on Wednesday, Detective Bryan Morong executed a warrant out of Washington County for an investigation stemming from January.
68-year-old David Wayne Shires was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less Than 5 Items and Forgery to Obtain Property or Services Over $30,000.
