JUSTICE KEN WISE TO SPEAK AT LIFETIME LEARNING PROGRAM MARCH 13
Lifetime Learning Brenham will host a serving justice on Texas’ 14th Court of Appeals for its next lunchtime program.
Justice Ken Wise, first appointed to the court in 2013, will present “The Secret Court of the Republic” on Friday, March 13th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cannery Kitchen, 314 East Alamo Street in Brenham.
Justice Wise is the creator and host of the award-winning Texas history podcast, “Wise About Texas”, which tells some of the stories behind the history. In 2021, he was honored by the Texas House of Representatives for his contributions to preserving the history of the state.
Justice Wise received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. He is a former judge of the 152nd Judicial District Court in Harris County. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Houston Bar Association, life fellow of the Texas and Houston Bar foundations, and a member and past president of the Executives Association of Houston. He is also a director of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Former Texas Rangers Foundation.
