BRENHAM PD DRUG UNIT MAKES ARREST AFTER NARCOTICS OPERATION
A narcotics investigation by Brenham police resulted in the arrest of a Brenham man on Thursday on multiple drug charges.
Investigators with the Brenham Police Department’s Drug and Gang Intelligence & Crime Enforcement (DICE) Unit conducted a narcotics operation involving the purchase of methamphetamine.
Police say that after an agreed-upon illegal narcotics transaction between investigators and a subject, members of the DICE Unit conducted a sting operation. 28-year-old Darius Alexander Toliver was located in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street, where police reported that he was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia, a THC product, and methamphetamine.
Toliver was taken into custody and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram. He was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in without further incident.
