Vance Bradford’s speech, titled, “My Chickens of 1949”, was judged best by a panel of judges at the District 55 contest on Saturday in San Antonio.
Brenham Toastmasters Club President De Wayne Mortensen said Bradford has a commanding voice and should do well at his next competition.
Bradford will represent Area G31 in the Division G contest in Pharr in April.
The Brenham Toastmasters group meets Monday nights at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Brenham Police Department. All are welcome to attend or join and learn public speaking while networking and building leadership skills.
